Replaced blower motor resistor now blower motor will not work

Today my blower motor wouldn't shut off even with the key out. Replaced blower motor resistor now blower motor wont work. Checked all fuses and they are good. Worked with old resistor when I put the fuse back in.

More then likely if you can simply install the old one that would not shut off then the issue is the new resistor and it is faulty straight out of the box.

you can test this resistor if you want to by simply measuring the resistance across the terminals. If you have a meter, put one lead on terminal G of the resistor, and then touch the other lead to all the other terminals one at a time. Record the resistance for each and let me know what they are. Make sure your meter is set to ohms.

Or you can just replace it again as I am sure they will change it out.
