Replaced blend door actuator and now it blows hot

I replaced my blend door actuator on my vehicle. The old one was making a clicking noise when going from cold to hot. After replacing the blend door actuator with the new one, it now blows completely hot and when I move the climate control knob to cold, it stays hot. What went wrong? I looked underneath when checking the actuator and the metal arm does move from left to right when changing the temperature.
