Is it necessary to also remove transmission when removing engine?

Just need to know if necessary to also remove transmission when removing engine. No problems with transmission, but everyone seems to do this in videos. He is experienced with replacing other engines like Ford. Thanks!

It can be done but it is much easier to remove it with the transmission and then separate them. Otherwise you will need to suspend the transmission and this just gets in the way when removing the engine.
