getting new front left and right struts, dealership price $1,500.00 and that is with a twenty percent discount. Price at speedy half of that. Should I go with the dealership?

Well Miss White,

Personally, I do not like to deal with a stealership unless they are the only one who has the part or service I have to have.

On the other hand, Quickie Joe's might use inferior parts installed by the fresh off the street kid that gets his two months of experience then moves on.

I try to send people to an inexpensive, but decent shop. I can kind of recommend a shop might near anywhere in the U.S. just by sending you to an experienced "car guy" who does not mind helping you at all to find that "special shop" whereas you might trust and grow dependent on in future years.

Please see my answer in this link!

Let me know how it works out!

Brantford, Ontario area, let me know. Thanks again.

Never take a first price offered as what the job is really worth, unfortunately there are a lot of rouges out there hoping to take advantage of unsuspecting motorist especially women,.....it always pays to try and get a few quotes and ask friends who they recommend as well, often this will lead you to a trustworthy tradesman.........
