2001 Renault Scenic 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

the water pump has failed big time.will it cause any valve damage with cam belt failure?

You have definately bent some valves if the belt snapped or came off/slipped whilst the engine was in motion ... i'm afraid
