when iam reversing and on full lock i hear a gridding noise, ive had new brakes on the rear,the front ones look ok.

Does this grinding noise only occur when reversing with full lock ? or have you tried forwards with full lock ?? sounds like it could be a driveshaft CV joint getting worn
