I have recently hit a Deer late at night, which caused my seatbelt pre-tensioners to fire. The light has also come on in the dashboard warning of the firing of the safety devices. I have replaced the pre-tensioners, but the light has not extinguished. I have been told that the sensor which fires the safety items will have to be replaced, but I wondered if it could not just be re-set? Also, can somebody confirm if it is situated behind the gear lever console, or elsewhere?
