Does the fan belt affect the steering? My fan belt snapped and a stop sign came on on the dash and the water gauge shot right up. Then the steering felt like lead. Could only turn by forcing the wheel round (no choice but to drive it home as two kids in car and it was -5 degrees) Car still drove fine other than being too hot.
