2002 Renault Espace head gasket

as you can see i have a renault espace 2.2, the problem is the head gasket had to get repaired just over a year ago but it seems the same thing has happened again, i just want to know what the life expectancy is for a gasket that has been done no more than, maximum 14 months ago?

there is no real answer for this question ... once you have the head off to replace the gasket .. you never get the same seal as when it left the factory .. most repair shops will give a 6 month warrenty .. some will give 12 .. but that is the most you could expect .. this is not to say it should only last 12 months .. I would expect a correctly fitted headgasket to last in the region of 2/3 years
