Hi, my problem is that the rear brake lights are permanently on when the ignition is on; I have tried to solve by elimination and have done the following;
Have removed & replaced the brake pedal sensor, have checked fluid level in reservoir, have checked fuse ; the same 20w fuse also acts for the hazard warning lights, all bulbs of which are working.
Have disconnected all of the electrics associated with a towbar.
On testing the brake sensor wires, there is 12v coming into the unit and on the other side even when the sensor unit is detatched, so where is the electricity coming from??? I have been unable to find any wiring diagram for this model , the mk3 series.
