1998 Renault Espace how to fix warning lights on dashboard

hi ya my warning lights on the dashboard of my espace dont work,the elec speedo temp and fuel guage are fine but when putting ignition on i do not get any oil light etc to the left and right of the speedo,could a relay switch cause this?or what could it be?.many thanks.help really appreciated.
