My vehicle gives warning light of CEL with STOP. Below is the DTC
DF998- pressure upstream of turbine Incorrect sensor mounting.
Checked turbo modulator solenoid produces more heat. Is the problem caused this component or what else to check?

The description you give sounds like there is an exhaust leak before the turbo.

Other than exhaust leak any other need to check?

I would check the turbo itself, it could be failing apart inside
