I have the dash ABS light on steady. It has been on for months. During a visit to a dealership today to attempt to get the State vehicle inspection, they said the code indicates the left rear ABS wheel sensor circuit is faulty. I want to check the wiring from the ABS controller connector in the engine compartment to the wheel sensor connector verify continuity before I replace the rear hub that contains the speed sensor.

I need a diagram that shows which two pins on the engine compartment ABS controller run to the left rear wheel sensor. I can take it from there. Thanks.

I have a easier way to see if you have a bad speed sensor take a ohms meter measure the ohms value across the two pins on the speed sensor then compare them to the right rear speed sensor. That's what I do before I start tracing wires etc.Let me know what you find if you need more help or info I am here for you.

No it doesn't maybe I didn't word it right I ment to say measure the ohms value of the left rear wheel speed sensor across the two pins of it.Then compare those readings to the right rear wheel speed sensor across the two pins of the sensor. That will test the left rear wheel speed sensor before going thru the hassle of checking the wires from the. Speed sensor to the abs computer. The wheel speed sensors usually read as a open when they test bad.I'm not trying to not answer your question I'm just helping you narrow down the problem before you have to go thru the hassle of checking the wiring.Even if the wires test good you would still have to eliminate A terminal tightness connection issue bad wheel speed sensor or bad abs computer. Which I haven't seen many bad abs computers on those cars.
