Rear video camera stopped working

The reverse camera stopped working and I used Forscan to scan for DTC's and found C1001:01.
I started working my way down the service manual and checked the LIN network circuit for a short to voltage by disconnecting BCM C2280D, with the ignition on I measured plug C4360 pin 4 and there's 10 volts present. The repair manual states that I need to repair the circuit. How and where do I even start?

If I am correct, you are on step A15 of the testing that I am attaching below.

If this is correct, then this is asking for a resistance check and not a voltage measurement.

Basically, it is having you check the circuit for an open or high resistance.

Sorry, I should have specified which step I'm on. I'm on A14. I see your A14 has an extra step "Disconnect: AC/DC inverter C3501". I'm still scratching my head over how I have 10VDC on C4360-4 when I have C2280D disconnected. To me it looks like that should isolate C4360-4 from the BCM and the Parking Aid Control Module, which doesn't make sense why I have voltage on C4360-4. I'll have to retake my measurements with C3501 disconnected too to see if that makes any difference.

Correct. We want to unplug the inverter just to be sure there is no interference.

I attached the info below. I think your thought pattern is correct. Let's run through them one more time just to make sure that is what you get again.

Problem solved! Thank you for your help kasekenny1! I unplugged the inverter and got the correct readings. So, I ended up dropping some money on a new camera, and the problem was solved. I used forscan to reprogram the new camera and everything works perfectly now.
