Where are the rear shocks located?

Hello,

On this vehicle the rear shocks might be able to be removed taking off the wheel. It may not provide enough clearance without taking off the wheels.
Removing the wheel will provide sufficient clearance to work on the shocks.

Look below, on the diagrams it shows the rear shock location.

Thank you. I thought the shocks were at the wheel, but the mechanic never took the wheel off. He put the car on a lift and went to the back of the car and using a flashlight looked under the car where the trunk was located. He was feeling around and said yeah you need shocks they feel dry. So that is why i was confused. Thanks
