Only leaks while the engine is running, and oil is pressurized. How many hours would a shop need to replace this?

Hi,

The easy part is replacing the seal. The difficult part is accessing it. LOL The transmission needs to be removed. On this vehicle, that would also include the transfer case. It is actually nearly a two-day job.

If you look below, I attached the flat rate house for replacing the rear crankshaft oil seal (rear main). Let me know if this helps or if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe
