Rear main seal installation, what kind of lubricant should I use?

Can you please tell me what kind of lubricant I should use when installing the new rear main seal? A lot of suggestions online say to use oil, and some say to use grease. A lot of back-and-forth so it has me skeptical what is the right way to go.

Hi,

When you install it, use the same type of engine oil you use in the engine. That is all that is needed.
