I have tried to get a decent video showing this procedure. I have worked on just about every car I have had, and this is a relatively easy job, but I want to double check with a master mechanic. I will get pictures and/or video for you if needed.

Am I correct in my thinking, as mentioned in my video, that I should be able to just pop (beat) it out from the backside?

Hello again.

Yes, that is correct. Maybe try using a spray type penetrant (PB Blaster or WD40 Blast) Or time for a bigger hammer!
Hope this helps and thanks again for using 2CarPros.

Yup, your suggestions are exactly what I have been doing, back at it in morning. I will be in contact with further information, if I come across anything new. Thanks.
