Rear hatch back lock/latch wont close or latch.

Rear hatch latch not working properly

Did this just start happening or did something happen to cause this to start?
Also, when you say it won't latch, does it just bounce off the striker? If so, try operating the outside handle as if you were trying to open the door. Sometimes the latch will get flipped and it just bounces off the striker. By operating the handle it will open the latch to allow it to close again.
If none of this is what is happening, can you get a quick video of what is happening and that will get us on the same page? Thanks
