So I've got the problem isolated to the rear differential. Unplugged the connector to the rear differential solenoid, noise gone. Operating as a 2 wheel drive vehicle. Of course now upon starting the car it pops up with message that 4 wheel drive requires service and shows traction control off icon on the instrument panel. Would putting a jumper wire between the 2 wire plug that goes to the rear differential solenoid result in the elimination of the messages displayed at start up?
