I recently had my passenger rear wheel cylinder changed because it was very bad and leaked. Now since having it replaced my brake pedal goes all the way to the floor and barely wants to stop. What's wrong?

Hello, I'm Danny.

Just a few questions first. Were the repairs performed by a shop or yourself? Was the brake system properly bled? Here are a few tutorials for you to view about low brake pedal and brake bleeding:

Hi. The repair was not done at a shop, nor was the lines properly bleed. I did go to a shop and get that done and was told I have to replace the rear brake line.

Also After getting the cylinder replaced it was still leaking brake fluid as the mechanic was bleeding the line.

Hello again.

Well that that explains why your pedal is all the way to the floor. You will need to have the line replaced and have the system completely bled to have your brakes return to normal.Hope this helps and thanks again for using 2CarPros.
