Rattily exhaust heat shield

Need a shim that won't burn up or fall right out. Or, do I just remove the heat shield? I'm not a car person and want the cheapest easiest solution. Thanks!

Hi,

The cheapest and easiest solution is to get a few worm clamps and combine them so they are long enough to go around the heat shield. They make different sizes, so get the ones that you feel would work best.

Place them around the heat shield and tighten them. Make them as tight as needed to eliminate the rattle.

I attached a pic of the type of clamp I'm referring to. You can get them at any parts store.
