When I start the car it makes a rattling/grinding noise

Kind of like a dish washer. After 1 second it stops that is until I start driving. It I stay under 3,000 RPM's it will make the rattling/grinding noise, but if I give the car some power it will go away. I have no loss of power, no slippage in the clutch, everything seems to work great. I was thinking maybe heat shield or possibly an Input Shaft Bearing. Not sure.

Welcome to 2CarPros. Noises are hard to pin down without hearing them up close but here are a few things to try. You say the noise stops. How about if you just rev it up slowly while stopped, does it start again at what rpm? If you go down the road and push in the clutch and let the engine idle what does it do? Does the noise stay the same in all gears at the same rpm, say 1000 rpm in first, is the noise the same at 1,000 rpm's in second, third?
Any change if you turn the steering wheel?
Think you might be able to record a video and post it here for us to hear?

Thank you for your response. When stopped if I rev it slowly I get no noise. When driving down the road if I push the clutch in there is no noise, it stops almost immediately. Also the noise is the same in all gears at the same RPM's. I can definitely post a video tomorrow after I take off in the morning.

It was the heat shield. Tightened a loose bolt and noise is gone.

Great to hear. It's amazing how much noise they can make. Had one that was loose and it would channel air up to a spot where one of the cross members had an access hole. When you started down the road it would start with a low whoosh and build up the a nice loud yowl that sounded like you had a hound dog in the back seal.
