Randomly pulling to the driver's side?

Hi,

How hard does it pull? Also, that is likely caused by a worn steering or suspension component.

To try and eliminate some possibilities, is there anything you can think of that can cause it to happen? For example, does it happen when you apply the brakes or on a certain type of road surface?

Let me know that so I can try to eliminate possible causes.

I drove the truck myself last night and I believe it's the bearings on the driver's side. I already replaced the bearings on the passenger side. I have so many things going wrong with the truck right now that it's just getting overwhelming. I know I have to get the catalytic converter fixed first, then the bearings, and only when those are done, I will be able to continue to repair the suspension issues I bought with the truck.

If you have a wheel bearing that is causing it to pull like that, I don't think I would drive it. Do you notice a howling noise when driving and a change in the pitch when turning?

I know what it is, I was just listening to other people again and doubting myself. It's my lower control arm on the driver's side, it jerks to the right or passenger side when I accelerate and then to the left or driver's side when I decelerate. Even though I have always worked on my own vehicles I still doubt myself and let others convince me that I don't know what I'm doing, and they are right. I'm sorry for the long explanation.

If it is that loose, that is just as dangerous. It has to be wearing the tires.

If you look below, I attached the directions for removing and replacing the lower control arm. I believe this is sold as a unit with the bushings and ball joint installed. I know I've tried to replace just a ball joint, and it was basically impossible. LOL
