My car is a coupe. I have no sound.I don't have the outrageous amount they want for the wire harness and I'm trying to straight wire the radio. The original is 24-pin connector a1-12 and b1-12, a1 purple a2-a7 empty, a8 to a11 speakers a12 black (ground). B1 orange 12v+ b2&3 empty b4 gray b5 black b6&7 empty and b8 to 11 speakers. Have switch hooked up in fuse box.

Hello again,

Yes, all the ground wires can be grounded to one spot. Make sure that the ground is clean, corrosion free, tight , and that you get good metal to metal contact. Also make sure to use good quality ring connectors for the ends of the wires. The purple wires are for computer lines going to the Power-train Control Module (PCM) or more likely the Body Control Module (BCM). Other than that everything you have in the original post looks good. Please let us know how it turns out.

Thanks,
Alex
