Just got the car listed above out of the shop and the radio display says "WAIT" the antenna goes up and down I entered the code but nothing.

Hello,
This WAIT message usually comes up after the vehicle gets a jump start. It is typically an indication of the CD changer not functioning properly.
Do you have a CD changer in this vehicle?
Also, it is likely that the shop jump started the car due to battery being discharged and triggered the message.
Try removing the fuse for the radio and re-installing it. Sometimes it will reset the message.
Before doing so make sure the vehicle is off.
I have attached the fuse panel diagram below. It is in the left side fuse panel inside the vehicle.

So, thank you! Yes, I was out driving today, and the normal code message came on after the first restart. After parking I entered the code, and all is well. Thanks, I will definitely use this site again, an older car always has issues.
