My presets do not save with my factory radio or new Kenwood radio. I bought the new radio already wired from Cruthfield so I am sure that is not the issue. Also, the internal clock only gets power from the headlights being turned on. Can someone explain to me why this is, and if there is a simple fix for it?

You have a power supply fault which could be due a blown fuse. The memory power supply is missing thus the radio is not able to save the preset stations. Clock not working correctly is also due to this memory fuse. Check the fuses under hood.

It is the "room lamp" fuse in the engine compartment fuse and relay box, shown here.
