Radio/dash lights stays on with key out and door shut

My truck has a issue when I get out key out door shut the radio and dash lights stay on, it will shut off after a long time. looks like it times out after a certain amount of time maybe 10 minutes. so thinking the door latch actuator, but not sure. thanks

Hello, I'm Danny.

Any time exterior and interior lights are controlled by a timer it is controlled by the BCM- body control module. You will have to have the BCM reflashed or replaced to fix the the problem. Most time length exits for complete shut off should never take more than 30 seconds. I've attached bcm removal steps and replacement steps including location below.
