radio anti-theft deactivation

My car radio keeps locking up. I have tried to pull out the BCM (?) fuse and reinstalling it, but I would appreciate a long term fix. Is there anyway to completely disengage the anti-theft feature?

Get it reprogrammed to the VIN you have. That is the only real fix. No way to turn it off.
