Radiator top hose sucked in and leak from the reservoir

We need to do two things. First replace the cap if it is leaking. Normally these issues are related as the cap causes a large vacuum in the system and it pulls the hose in on itself. So this may correct both issues.

Let's start with replacing the cap and go from there.

If that doesn't fix the hose issue then we need to test the pressure in the system. Just let me know what happens and we can go the next step. Thanks

Hi,

It could have air in the cooling system. Disconnect heater outlet hose at water pump to bleed air from the system. When coolant begins to flow, reconnect heater hose. Start engine and allow to warm up. Shut engine off and allow system to cool. Remove radiator cap and fill with coolant as needed. If it is not overheating It could be the radiator pressure cap isn't holding pressure causing a vacuum in the cooling system and sucking the upper hose flat. You can have the cap pressure tested if it fails the test it should be replaced alone with the upper radiator hose because they get soft and fatigued.
