Radiator fan only works when A/C is turned on, the coolant sensor is not working?

This sounds like the coolant sensor has gone bad. Here is the location so you can change it out or have the work done. You can scan the car to see if the sensor is bad or if any codes come up. Also, I have included the cooling fan wiring diagrams so you can see how the system works. Check the images below.
