Is the radiator cooling fan motor on the vehicle listed above interchangeable with any other Honda mode?

Hi,

I took some time and ran through a few other Honda vehicles and the part numbers are different. The OEM part number for your vehicle is 19030PVJA01. From what I am reading, that is the only vehicle it fits, other than a 2007 Pilot. The one for 2009 is different.

Is the fan not working? Have you checked it to confirm the motor itself is bad? I attached simple directions for testing them. You will just need jumper wires to power it. See directions below.

Let me know.

You said that the ‘06-08 cooling fan motors were the same part number. my next question to y’all is, can I use any other year Pilot fan motor, or one from another Honda model and make it “fit” and won’t it work just as well? The replacement part new is over $300.00! Help me out here boys, isn’t there another Honda fan motor model that will do the job just as well?
Thanks for your thoughts, Thomas

Hi,

No problem. I didn't know that was what you wanted to do. Listen, there are likely others that will do the same thing, but at this point, I would contact a local parts store. They make universal cooling fans for all types of conditions.

Here is a link to AutoZone's info: Check it out. What to do is measure the fan motor/blades on your vehicle and find one that will work. These are universal fans, so mounting them will be done differently but they will do the job.

Sorry about that. I didn't know this was the goal. I thought maybe you had one from a different model year and was seeing if it was a direct fit.

Take care and let me know if there is anything I can do to help.
