I have lost my radiator cap and have a cap from my wallpaper stripper that fits. Would this temporarily get me mobile again?

Hello,
The radiator cap will need to be replaced by another one that is specifically made for your vehicle.
These caps are rated at a specific pressure, and they can vent if needed, just having a cap to cover the radiator is not going to work and could lead to trouble.
