I cannot even get one mile down the road without it blowing the radiator cap off. I have replaced the radiator and overflow container. Had one leak where the hose was not fully attached to overflow container. Fixed it and now it blows the cap off. no more leaks. what is causing it to do this ?

Did you replace the radiator cap when your replaced the radiator? Because it should be able to stay on even when the system is under pressure. They cost about $10.00 at the local parts store. Also, when you get it, make absolutely sure that it is tightened properly. You would be surprised how easy it is to not put it on all the way.

I fought the problem when I took of the oil cap . It is the right side head gasket it has been blown. I already had a in cap with the new tank and I knew that the water had to be going some where and it was out of the tail pipe. thanks very much for your help.
