Radiator and compressor fan not functioning

From the first diagram sent, I can check for power and ground on the fan ECU using test light. how will I check for the signal (third wire) on the signal wire if it is functioning?

Have you checked the black-white wire A4 from the fan relay in the wiring diagram I've provided to be a sufficient ground? I've reattached the picture and circled in red. Let us know and we'll go from there.
