Rack and pinion removal

Everything is unbolted, the rack is loose, lines are disconnected. It wont come out. Is there a twist turn, wiggle combination or does it need to go out the passenger side? Or does the subframe need to be loosened. Should I just use the torches and make a notch to get the unit out of the car?

Good morning,

I usually loosen the cradle and lower it a couple of inches to get the steering gear to clear the drivers side opening.

It is a tight fit but it does come out that side.
