Okay I have a 2004 Mustang rack and pinion taking that off and I want to put that on my 2000 Mustang what are the steps I need to know to do that?

The process is the same in both vehicles so it should be pretty straight forward.
I am attaching the info from the manual below.
However, if you are changing this with another used part then I would suggest flushing the fluid.
