Engine running poorly and will not rev past 3,000 RPM's

My van won't rev up pass 3,000 rpm's. running sluggish no power the D light does not light up only at start up then goes out. am I in limp mode? I have replaced transmission still no luck.

Hi,

Was the transmission range sensor replaced with the new transmission? Are there any diagnostic trouble codes that you have been able to retrieve?

I attached a picture of the range sensor. Let me know if that was checked or replaced and if there are any codes. If it is in limp mode, there should be codes.
