Code p0455, after replacing the purge valve the check engine light is still on?

I just replaced my purge valve and now it clicks (assuming it's working now since it didn't click with the old one) I had the code p0455 so that's why I replaced it. Yet my check engine light is still on. This was the only code I had and I was wondering if I have to use my ob-2 to clear the code for the light to turn off.
