A problem just appeared out of nowhere. I drove my van after not driving it for about a week, and I noticed a pull to the right when I applied the brakes. As I was driving down the freeway, I took my hands of the steering wheel for a moment, and noticed a pull to the left when I was in motion. I pulled over to a gas station after driving about six miles, and there was some smoke coming from the driver's side front tire area on the inside of the wheel. I could not tell exactly where the smoke was coming from, whether it was from the brake area, or part of the suspension. It had an acrid smell, like rubber or plastic melting. Could it be a stuck caliper, or something more serious with the suspension? Thanks for your help!
