Programming a duplicate key

I am trying to program a new duplicate key to my 2000 Grand Prix. I have seen about 3 different methods of doing it and none of them work. Why is it not programming?

There are a number of ways to do this namely a 10 minute and 30 minute process. If these are not working then we need to hook up a scan tool because I suspect we either have an issue with the system or not understanding what is happening.

Please review the attached documents and tell me if you have questions. Pay attention to the portion of which key you have to start with. Are you using a black master key to start the process? If you are using a grey key then it will only program that key.

Also, can you tell me the process that you are using what happens after you do it?
