Hello to everybody,

First of all, i'm Cris Bautista from Barcelona,Spain.I need somebody to advice me about the issue of (security wait time)of my zafira A Y20dth with psg16 pump. I have just finish replacing it.but what have had happened is,I accidentally programmed with the original pin #,because according to the dealer it was already virgin so i reprogram it by the original carpass of my car but when my tech2 ask the security pin code,i entered it's old pin#so(wrong immo pin code, programming failed)has appeared.then i attempted again for the second time but the (security wait time)appeared.I been waiting for 3 days hopping to disappear but it's seem's nothing happen.still 40:0.then i'd try again with my op-com and the immo have luckily recognized the ECU (immo successfully programmed) but when i attempt to program transponder,i put the same old pin but appeared(wrong transponder entered) now i don't really understand which of them is bad,the immobilizer, transponder, ecu or pin #?.Hopping for your correct and brilliant advice.Thank you and more power.

Welcome to 2CarPros.

I hate to say it, but that vehicle isn't offered in the US, so my technical information is extremely limited. However, let us know what happens and if it works. I will try to help.

Take care,
joe
