Mot failure on welding

Mot failure on welding 2.4.a3 suspension component mounting excess corrosion.

That happened to my brother-in-law over there. He failed MOT and took it to a local shop to have it re-welded. Its cost him about 350 pounds I believe.

I am not sure how adept you are at welding but if you are, then you need to identify the component and weld that caused you to fail MOT and then grind, clean and re-weld the part in question. Afterwards a good coat of primer and paint to keep this from happening again.

Thank you I would scrap it it is an old bus, but I have put a lot of money into it and decked all the back out. I will try and find a welder as I am useless with things like that. I would pay 350.

Afterwards though you can handle the painting yourself if you are so inclined!
