So I took it to an AutoZone to have them run a diagnostic on it and it came back as a sensor issue. they told me to disconnect the negative battery terminal and reconnect. it is this what I should do?

Hi,

I'm not sure if that will help. What code was found? What sensor was an issue? As far as sensors, usually disconnecting the battery won't change what they are doing.

I hope to be honest, this vehicle should still be under the basic 3/36K warranty. Everything other than maintenance items is covered. Also, based on the sensor, it could be covered for much longer.

Let me know as much as you can or if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe
