power-train flashingon all the time

my power-train came on then my transmission would not change automatically.

I have to put it in to first gear manually to take of then when driving it only goes only up to third gear. but still changing manually.

my speedometer was not working at all when this started.

The first step is to have the diagnostic fault codes read and recorded. Those will indicate the circuit or system that needs further diagnosis.
