I just bought this car, it didn't come with a key fob, just a key and a radio key, not sure what that is, anyone know? Anyway, when I turn the car off and remove the key from the ignition, the windows in the front roll down. I don't know what is wrong with it, or why it does this, let alone how to fix it. I'd appreciate any help on this!!! Like everyone else, I'd rather not leave my car unlocked, I think that's just asking for trouble. Thank you in advance!!

Does the car have an aftermarket alarm system on it? IF not here is a CPU inside the main window switch which sounds like it has gone out. I do see the BCM in the wiring circuit as well. Let's remove the window switch and unplug it to see if the problem stops, if so, I would get a replacement switch, also you may be able to do a CAN scan to see if any codes come up. You can get a CAN scanner (Controller Area Network) which will work on most cars from Amazon. here is a video to show you how:

Here are the window wiring diagrams so you can see how the system works and I have included how to change out the main window switch as well. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

I couldn't unplug the harness from the window buttons, but it turns out if I lock my door before taking out my key, they stay up. Any ideas on that one? I appreciate your help!!!

Yep, this sounds like the BCM is causing the problem, we should do a CAN scan to confirm, here is how to change the BCM out in the images below, you can get a preprogrammed unit by searching Google or Ebay. have your VIN number ready. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what you find.
