Power window motherboard keeps on short circuiting?

My power window switch started smoking recently. I have replaced it twice since then and the motherboard keeps on short circuiting which is causing a strong burning electrical smell. It's gotten to the point where I'm scared to drive it.

So, most of the time the window motor on the driver's side front will go out causing too many amps to be pulled through the switch. You might be able to feel the window motor and if it is warm or hot it is bad. Check out the images (below). Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem so we can see what's going on.
