Power steering fluid leaking in back of reservoir from pressure hose

So i changed my power steering cooler on my truck listed above 1500 LT, and I added fluid to it, I started it up and it started bubbling out of where the pressure hose bolts onto the back of the reservoir. How do I fix this? I changed the power steering cooler due to one of the lines having a crack from the cold. Am i supposed to turn the wheel over a bunch of times to let the air out? Or is it simply from a cracked hose? I just changed the pressure hose earlier this fall too, and its leaking again. I checked the O-rings on the end of the pressure hose and they were fine, with them being brand new. Thanks in advance.

Good afternoon,

I would change the hose. You have a defect there and it needs to be changed. I attached the procedure below for you.

I would also flush the system of all the old fluid.

POWER STEERING GEAR OUTLET HOSE REPLACEMENT (RECIRCULATING BALL)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Install a drain pan under the vehicle.

NOTE: Refer to Power Steering Hose Disconnected Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Remove the power steering gear outlet hose (3) from the steering gear (2).
3. Remove the clamp retaining the power steering gear outlet hose (3) to the power steering pump (1).
Remove the power steering gear outlet hose from the power steering pump.
4. Remove the power steering gear outlet hose from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Route the hose in the same position the hose occupied prior to removal.

NOTE: Refer to Installing Hoses Without Twists or Bends Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the power steering gear outlet hose (3) to the power steering pump (1).
Position the clamp at the end of the hose.
3. Install the power steering gear outlet hose to the power steering gear.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten
Tighten the outlet hose fitting to 28 N.m (20 lb ft).

4. Remove the drain pan from under the vehicle.
5. Bleed the power steering system. Refer to Bleeding the Power Steering System.

Thank you, I kind of thought I needed a new one. Due to the extreme colds here in Alaska, I think it got cracked. But was thinking it couldn't have at the same time because it's brand new. I ordered it from napa.com, but was told to order one from the GM parts website. What do you mean by bleeding out the system? Any videos of how i could do it? Thanks in advance.
