Power steering and brake failure

Truck will not brake or steer, when taking weight off front axle, truck will steer but pushes power steering fluid back through filler neck of pump with lid on.

Good afternoon,

This sounds like the power steering pump may be the issue not producing enough pressure for the steering and the brakes.

My concern is this. When the pump fails, debris goes into the system. The hydro-vac does not do well with this debris. It may require replacing both units.

I would flush the system before doing anything to get the dirty fluid out of the system otherwise you will contaminate the new pieces.
