power steering

I replaced the steering rack and now the steering wheel wont turn and the pump and lines are very hot and smoke

recheck your work then follow bleed procedures first picture shows return line on pump. also after doing bleed procedure do again with front end up In air however you are supposed to use a vacuum pump on power steering pump and wait five minutes after adding fluid.
